Praveen Bokolia is the Head of the Risk Management Department with over 29 years of professional experience in various areas of banking like Risk Management, Corporate and Retail Banking, Operations, and Planning and Development.
Before joining Oman Housing Bank, Praveen served in BankDhofar, Oman, and Punjab National Bank, India, and held various leadership and management positions. He sits on various management-level committees including Management Risk Committee (Chair), Asset Liability Management Committee, and Management Credit Committee. As Head of Risk Management, he convenes the Board Risk and Compliance Committee meetings.
Praveen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, India. He also holds Post Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance from the National Institute of Bank Management, India and Post Graduate Diploma in Capital markets from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, India. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), and Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.
