To benefit from the Iskan Program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
The applicant must be a citizen of Oman.
The applicant must be married.
Applicants must not own a residential property within Oman.
The applicant should have a steady and continuous monthly income to meet loan repayment obligations.
Neither the applicant nor their spouse should have previously benefited from any government housing subsidy.
Eligible citizens can access the electronic platform to complete registration and verify eligibility.
Applicants enter their financial details, and the system calculates the eligible financing amount and expected monthly installment.
Applicants choose their preferred bank from participating banks to proceed with their financing application.
Upon approval, the selected bank processes the loan, and funds are disbursed once all requirements are met.
All steps, from registration to loan disbursement, can be completed online, making the process efficient and user-friendly.
Multiple local banks, including conventional and Islamic banks, participate in the program, offering various financing options.
