Facilities provided by the bank to the citizen
- The bank grand housing loans to citizens for multiple purposes as (building a house, buying a ready house, buying not ready house and complete, complete the construction of a house, the expansion of an existing house, (Construction) to buy land and build)
- The loan amounts granted to the citizens depend on the fixed monthly income and the financial capabilities of the citizen with a maxim limit of RO.60,000/- . In addition to longer repayment period reaching to 25 years on easy monthly installments ranging from 10% to 60% of the borrower’s income.
- Reduced banking and administrative charges, as the government of the Sultanate of Oman bear part thereof on behalf of the borrower. The less the citizen’s income the bigger portion of such charges are borne by the government. The charges imposed on limited and medium income categories is ranging from 1% to 2% per annum.
